We’ve introduced a more flexible way to run leagues, giving clubs the option to open up general availability for players to book their own league matches. Until now, league play required pre-set matches or empty league slots for players to choose from. Clubs can now offer general availability instead — or combine both approaches to suit how they like to run things.
How it works
Why this feature matters
Setting up individual league slots takes time, and for many clubs it’s the most repetitive part of running a league. General availability removes much of that admin by letting players book league matches directly on open court time. The trade-off is a little less control over exactly when league matches take place at the club, so we’ve kept it fully optional — clubs that prefer the structure of pre-set slots can keep working exactly as they do today, while those who want to save time can hand more of the scheduling over to their players. And with the combination option, you can strike whatever balance works best for your club.
